NetLink has experienced a fibre service outage which has affected broadband services in some parts of Woodlands. Approximately 1,100 end-user connections may be affected by this incident.
The fibre service disruption was caused by a third party's contractor carrying out construction activity. The errant third-party contractor was not engaged by NetLink. We take a serious view of such disruption in services caused by errant contractors and will not hesitate to take necessary actions against the errant party.
Our recovery team is in the process of restoring the fibre services and the estimated time of recovery is later this evening. If your service is affected by the incident, we apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience while we work with your Internet Service Provider to restore your service as soon as possible.
