System Upgrade
NetLink Trust routinely refreshes and upgrades the system to keep pace with technology advancement. This system upgrade exercise will enable us to further enhance our fibre provisioning capabilities and field operations (amongst others).
No. Your existing fibre broadband service will continue to work as normal. You can continue to use your internet service as usual during the system upgrade period.
No. The system upgrade does not affect the delivery of existing fibre broadband services. End-users can continue to use their internet service as usual.
Please continue to report any service issues directly to your Internet Service Provider (ISP), as you normally would. There is no change to the fault reporting process, and your ISP will work with NetLink Trust to restore your service.
No. NetLink Trust and our partners remain fully committed to maintaining normal service standards. Fault repairs will continue to be prioritised to restore your service as quickly as possible.
Appointments that are scheduled outside the period of 23 April to 3 May 2026 will proceed as planned. If your appointment falls within the blackout period, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) will contact you to arrange a new appointment date.
Your ISP will contact you if rescheduling is required. End-users do not need to contact NetLink Trust directly.
Yes. You may sign up for a new fibre broadband service with your preferred ISP at any time. However, please note that installation appointments cannot be scheduled between 23 April and 3 May 2026 due to the system upgrade. You may choose an installation date before 23 April 2026 or from 4 May 2026 onwards.
Yes. You may submit a relocation request through your ISP as usual. Similar to new installations, site appointments for relocations cannot be scheduled between 23 April and 3 May 2026. Appointments outside this period will proceed as normal.
No action is required if you are an existing end-user and do not need a new installation or relocation during the system upgrade period. If you have questions about your broadband plan or appointments, please contact your Internet Service Provider, who will be able to assist you.
The system upgrade relates to NetLink Trust’s systems. For questions about broadband plans, appointments or customer communications, end-users should contact their ISPs.
NetLink Trust will provide updates where necessary. End-users may also receive information from their ISPs.
